ABOUT THIS CLASS
Tap Improvers is designed for students who have already developed a strong foundation in tap and are ready to progress beyond the basics. The class focuses on refining technique, improving speed, accuracy and control, while introducing more challenging rhythms, footwork and combinations.
Students continue to develop their musicality, coordination and performance skills through progressively more advanced exercises and routines. As confidence grows, dancers are encouraged to perform with greater expression, precision and style while tackling increasingly complex choreography.
This class provides the perfect next step for committed tap dancers who are ready to challenge themselves, build on their existing knowledge and continue developing as confident, versatile performers.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Tap Improvers is suitable for students who have already mastered the fundamental tap syllabus and demonstrate confident rhythm, timing and technique. Progression into this class is by teacher recommendation, ensuring every student is ready for the increased technical demands and faster pace of learning.

UNIFORM
Students should wear fitted black clothing with black full lace tap shoes. Long hair should be secured in a neat bun using an Academy scrunchie.

Chloe Colman
Principal & ColmanICONS Programme Director
Chloe is the Principal of Colman Creative Academy and has over 12 years of teaching experience. She is passionate about creating an environment where every student feels challenged, supported and encouraged to achieve more than they thought possible. Her classes balance technical excellence with creativity, helping dancers build confidence both on and off the stage.
