ABOUT THIS CLASS
The Student Helper Programme gives students the opportunity to develop valuable leadership, communication and teamwork skills while supporting younger members of Colman Creative Academy. Working alongside our teaching team, Student Helpers learn how to encourage others, build confidence and create a positive learning environment.
The programme is designed to help students grow both personally and professionally, developing transferable life skills that extend far beyond the performing arts. Whether assisting in classes, supporting Academy events or leading by example, every Student Helper plays an important role in creating the welcoming community that makes Colman Creative Academy so special.
As students progress through the programme, they have the opportunity to work towards Bronze, Silver and Gold Student Helper Awards, recognising their commitment, leadership and personal development. Helpers can also earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points, making the programme an excellent addition to Duke of Edinburgh's Award volunteering sections, as well as college, university and future job applications.
