ABOUT THIS CLASS
Intermediate Acro is designed for students who have mastered the foundations of acrobatics and are ready to progress towards more advanced skills. Combining flexibility, strength, balance and technique, students continue to develop the control and confidence needed to safely perform increasingly challenging acrobatic movements.
Classes focus on refining existing skills while introducing new progressions through structured drills, conditioning and technical training. Students work both individually and collaboratively, building resilience, body awareness and confidence as they work towards achieving the next stages of the Colman Creative Academy Acro Curriculum.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Intermediate Acro is suitable for students who have successfully completed Level 1 of the Colman Creative Academy Acro Curriculum. Students should be able to independently demonstrate core skills including a forward roll, backward roll, handstand, cartwheel on both sides, and a handstand to bridge stand up. Entry may be subject to teacher recommendation to ensure students are placed in the most appropriate class for their ability and safety.
Not sure which class is the best fit? Our Experience Pass is the perfect way for us to assess your child's current level. Simply register for the class you feel is most suitable, and we'll provide personalised guidance and discuss the best placement following their session.
