ABOUT THIS CLASS
Broadway & Beyond Act 2 is designed for students ready to build on the foundations of musical theatre while developing greater confidence and performance technique. Through a combination of acting, singing and dance, students explore both stage and screen performance in a creative, supportive and inspiring environment.
Across the programme, students strengthen their character development, vocal technique, stage presence and performance quality while working collaboratively with others. They are encouraged to challenge themselves creatively, develop their individuality and build the confidence to perform in front of an audience.
Act 2 provides the perfect stepping stone towards more advanced performance training, helping students become versatile, expressive and confident performers both on and off the stage.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
Screen Acting
Develop natural performance skills for camera, exploring expression, confidence and storytelling on screen.
Theatre Performance
Build acting technique through scripts, character development and stagecraft.
Singing
Strengthen vocal technique, harmony, projection and musical confidence.
Dance
Develop choreography, movement quality and performance skills through musical theatre dance.
Stage
Presence
Learn to captivate an audience with confidence, expression and performance quality.
Ensemble
Skills
Work collaboratively while developing teamwork, communication and professionalism.

UNIFORM
Students should wear an Academy T-shirt with black leggings or shorts and black jazz shoes. Girls should wear their hair in a neat bun secured with an Academy scrunchie.

Chloe Colman
Principal & ColmanICONS Programme Director
Chloe is the Principal of Colman Creative Academy and has over 12 years of teaching experience. She is passionate about creating an environment where every student feels challenged, supported and encouraged to achieve more than they thought possible. Her classes balance technical excellence with creativity, helping dancers build confidence both on and off the stage.
