ABOUT THIS CLASS
Broadway & Beyond Act 1 is the perfect introduction to the exciting world of performing arts for our youngest performers. Through imaginative storytelling, creative play, singing and dance, students develop confidence, creativity and communication skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Each session is carefully designed to keep young learners engaged while introducing the foundations of musical theatre. Students explore characters, music and movement through fun activities that encourage teamwork, self-expression and a love of performing.
Whether it's their very first class or the start of a lifelong passion for theatre, Act 1 helps children build confidence both on and off the stage while creating wonderful memories with friends.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

UNIFORM
Students should wear an Academy T-shirt with black leggings or shorts and black jazz shoes. Girls should wear their hair in a neat bun secured with an Academy scrunchie.

Daisy Welford
Colman Rising Stars Programme Director
Daisy is the Colman Rising Stars Programme Lead at Colman Creative Academy and has over 6 years of teaching experience. She is passionate about supporting our lower school students, helping them develop strong foundations, grow in confidence and achieve their full potential in a fun, nurturing environment.
Also supported by Chloe Adams, Teaching Assistant.
