At Colman Creative Academy, we believe that street dance is an incredible form of self-expression, creativity, and physical exercise. Our experienced instructors are passionate about street dance and are committed to helping students develop their skills and confidence in this art form. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, our classes offer something for everyone.

In our street dance classes, you will learn a range of techniques and styles, including popping, locking, breaking, and hip hop. We use a variety of teaching techniques to help students develop their skills, including choreography, improvisation, and freestyle dancing. Our instructors work with each student to develop their coordination, rhythm, and confidence in street dance.

How do I book a trial?To book a trial please complete the form on this page. Once a member of our team has received this they will be in touch within 48 hours to book a date and confirm your details.

How do I pay my fees?Fees can be paid on your parent portal. A link to this is sent once you join the academy. The parent portal gives the guardian of the student access to progress notes, appropriate videos and files and a secure payment software.

What if my child or I am injured and cannot attend class?Unfortuntely term fees are non-refundable in the case of injury. We welcome injured students to watch class so they can continue to learn.

Can I pay for drop in classes?We do not offer drop-in classes for school-aged students. Adults can however come to drop in classes where space permits. Please contact us for drop in prices.

Street Dance is a 1 hour class.
​
Students take part in a full cardio and stretch warm up.
​
Students then take part in corner work where we work on a variety of drills and are encouraged to be creative with freestyle.
In standard classes students work on different routines, covering a variety of sub-styles as well as developing their choreography skills and in show term students work on their pieces towards the production.
