Principal & Head of Teaching


Chloe trained on the professional Level 6 diploma in Musical Theatre. Throughout her time in training she found a passion for choreographing and teaching all ages and abilities. She finds watching the growth of her students unlike anything else and wanted to create a company to develop her passion into her life.

Chloe founded Colman Creative Academy in September 2020 and continuously works to develop the school and increase student opportunities. Most recently she has launched "Colman Creative Training", a student helper training programme which is available for dance schools worldwide. 

Chloe has performed in many shows in various parts of the country including Hairspray, Pirate Adventures and Little Women. She has also performed with Ultrabeat Live in their UK tour in 2019 and 2021 as well as choreographing for these tours.

Chloe is our head of teaching at Colman Creative Academy teaching classes from Mini Steps through to our Elite Programme.

Chloe is also a member of NPAA, UKA, Acrotrix, Dance School Safeguarding Services & is currently working with Rosina Andrews to ensure the safest training for our students.

CHLOE adams

Head of Operations

Chloe joined the team in April 2021, starting as the administrative assistant and receptionist here at Colman Creative Academy.​

As the academy grew Chloe took on the role of Studio Manager; welcoming students each class, supporting Chloe Colman in classes and becoming involved with the daily running of the academy which has now developed into the role of Head of Operations.


Chloe is responsible for supporting students throughout their training with us, the smooth running of classes at the studio and assisting with social media.

Chloe is also a qualified Acro teacher through the Acrotrix training & syllabus and teaches our Gymnastic Dance Foundations classes as well as assisting in our Dance Cirque and Little Cirque Programme.


John Forsyth

Head of Programming

John joined the team in April 2023, starting as head of programming here at Colman Creative Academy.

John trained on the professional Level 6 Diploma in dance at Bodywork in 2016 to 2019 and then went on to get a BA Theatre Degree in 2021.

John has credits working in Bollywood within the UK and Europe and working onboard Fred Olsen Cruises and Costa Cruises.​


We are so excited to have John onboard. John is responsible for welcoming our new students into the studio as well as ensuring that students have an amazing experience with us.


John is also one of the cover teachers here at CCA you may see him around the studio on reception or teaching classes when a member of the team is away.

bonnie jackson

Canvas Kids Teacher, Dance Cirque & Gymnastic Dance Assistant

Bonnie has a background in nursing but has always had an interest in dance, drama and art. She was part of a drama group in her teens and attended various art classes as a child and adult. She also has previous volunteering experience in a Drama school.


In college Bonnie studied Art and this increased her passion for the arts even further. Last year Bonnie was part of our Dance Cirque Adults Programme and loved her classes so much that she has now become a certified Dance Cirque teacher and we are extremely excited to welcome her to the Colman Creative Academy Team.

Dance, Theatre & Circus Teacher

Leah trained in Musical Theatre in Milton Keynes and Cambridge and has since taken part in many different singing, acting and dancing projects, including BBC's Pitch Battle and other short film projects and stage shows.


She has been teaching Musical Theatre to a range of ages for the past 18 months and is excited to share her knowledge and passion with the students and bring her experience to the role.


Leah will be teaching our Step It Up! class and supporting with Musical Theatre & Dance Cirque from September.


Head Girl 2023/24

Our first ever Head Girl, here at Colman Creative Academy, has been chosen for 2023/24 by the students themselves. We are so excited to welcome Maisie to our team as the Head Girl for the season ahead. Congratulations Maisie!



Our wonderful student helpers take part in our Student Helper Programme and assist with allocated classes. Students who attend our Foundation & Level 1 classes will see these student helpers each week.
